Not sure if all this is worth the effort. Those requests can come from guild halls in other towns too, so I assume you have to get them to the right one. I know I tried to deliver it with a cart, but that didn't work. I'm pretty sure I did that, but maybe I didn't put it in the characters inventory and walk it back. This is disappointing - they don't need to add more stuff, they just need to fix what's already there and they'd have a pretty decent game Maybe I'll hold off for a bit before buying it. Hopefully the files are open like the previous versions so maybe some of that can be fixed.

it's really a massive disappointment and not worth the money, imo. Really the game is just an enormous feature creep at this point with absolutely no attempt to make the game more ergonomic or just simply fluid. Hiring random individuals is a huge pain in the ass as they added an extra layer of hiring higher skilled workers but nothing but apprentice or w/e the lowest tier ever comes up, leading to twice as many clicks. Maps are huge, open, and relatively uninspired and time consuming to plod through with 1 dexterity at the start of the game.

when courting someone, queuing up an action for your PC to do does not stop the npc anymore, resulting in an aggravating benny hill style gauntlet of poor pathing and running through buildings. The pathing of individuals is still poor and actually WORSE at some points. What on earth does civil rights even mean in the 1400s? It really just stinks of poor design and all around laziness. By the time I had made it to patrician (which is now the 4th or 5th title in), it was a whopping 100k thalers.

The most aggravating thing happens to be the introduction of new titles which are pretty much enormous money sinks Yeoman, Citizen without full civil rights, citizen with civil rights, free citizen. There's now an option to create a trade route between your shop and town market, but no actual way of creating an automatic supply chain between buildings. Fat has been removed, but fruit and honey has been added (both obtainable at an orchard, an entirely separate building).Įventually I reached a point where that I pretty much had to keep building buildings (as a patron) in order to get any sort of efficient work flow and chain of supplies, which of course are now limited by these gloriously expensive new titles. wheat now has to be milled at a windmill, but you can only have two millers meaning production is irritatingly slow. In fact, they just lengthen supply chains for the most part. These buildings really don't seem to add anything of real value, and there are some egregious bugs that still plague the game (hope you have more than one surgeon tending that hospital! else they'll all lay down in the same bed and die). Having somehow managed to enjoy the guild 2 PoES (which for all it's bugs, is really quite an enjoyable game), this expansion is an enormous step backwards. It feels kind of like buying a patch since a lot of the changes are just to make the game work like it should have before, but since I only paid $7 for pirates and this is supposedly gonna be <$20 and have also be on sale at release, I think the pros outweigh the cons so I'll be pickin this up Wed I'd say it's a must buy if you liked pirates.

Though again I haven't really explored rogues much so in a real game things are probably a lot tougher having to worry about the law and evidence and junk Rogues can dominate even harder if they want too. Pity Craftsman and Patrons didn't seem to get much but I hardly spent any time with them so there could be more. Overall seems pretty cool, I'm glad I play Scholar cause they got some decent stuff. All i've really seen is some new actions and all the new building upgrades. This is by no means comprehensive, there are tons of other small tweaks and changes I haven't explored. Your small army has awesome stat bonuses and can do a few interesting agressive moves a bunch of stuff involving catching criminals in the act and using that evidence in interesting ways. Far as I can tell they function as kind of an anti-rogue, as well as your own personal police force. Mercenary - Like the Juggler mercs seem to have a bit of meat to them compared to the other classes. Can make some cool artifacts mostly designed to keep competitors from being elected. Juggler camp - Love this one, not sure how much money making potential it has, but being able to place beggars is the most diabolical shit ever.

supposedly can make money selling drinks, I saw people coming in and drinking but they weren't paying. Innkeeper - Basically a way to use wenches to distract guards without having to buy/build a pirate haven.
